A true Celebration of Independence Day by organising Unity Job Fair and helping the Nation’s youth with Jobs!

As part of the Independence Day celebrations and with the noble intention to unite all Communities, create a sense of Brotherhood and provide Livelihoods to all, Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) in association with Pir Makhdum Saheb Charitable Trust and The Bombay Catholic Sabha, is organising a Free mega Job Fair. This Job Fair will be held on Saturday, 17th August 2024, at Sacred Heart Boys’ High School, S. V. Road, Santacruz West, Mumbai – 400054, from 10 AM – 4 PM.

100 Corporates & Recruiters are expected to attend this Job Fair with almost 20,000 job openings for needy Candidates. Companies representing Logistics, BPOs, Pharma Diagnostics, Banking & Finance, Insurance, IT, Edutech, FMCG, Automotive, Facilities Management & others will be participating with requirements for various domains. Atleast 2000-3000 needy candidates are expected to attend this job fair.

The Unity Job Fair is also being supported by other Multi-Faith Organisations like World Interfaith Harmony Unity Mission (WIHUM), Sanghakaya Foundation and Hajiali Dargah Trust. A press meet was held by the organisers of the Job Fair on Tuesday, 13th August 2024, to inform the press and social media channels regarding the objective and other details of this event.

Suhail Khandwani, Managing Trustee, Mahim Dargah & Haji Ali Dargah Trusts, said “At Mahim & Haji Ali Dargah Trusts, we try and reach out to the Youth through Jobs, Education, Sports, Medical Care etc. Unity & Harmony are the principles with which we work and which is needed strongly in our Country today.”

Dolphy D’Souza, President – The Bombay Catholic Sabha, said, “With all the issues of intolerance that our Country is facing today, this Job Fair and many such programmes are being organised to give a strong message of Tolerance and Unity. If our Countrymen have to progress then intolerance and hate will not help us in any way.”

Aamir Edresy, President – Association of Muslim Professionals, said, “This Job Fair is a great opportunity for bringing together all Communities. We expect a large number of needy candidates to get jobs. This job fair is open to candidates from all Castes, Communities and Religions in true celebration of the spirit of Indepndence Day.”

Milind Ukey, noted Film Producer & Director and Trustee – Sanghakaya Foundation & WIHUM – the interfaith social organisation, has requested all NGOs to extend their support to this JobFair so maximum youth can benefit from it. Some of Mumbai city’s esteemed social development organisations’ members are expected to attend the job fair to encourage the participants and corporates.

Candidates who are X & XII Pass, Graduates & Post Graduates with a minimum age of 18 years, either freshers or experienced, can attend the Job Fair.
