FELICITATION FUNCTION OF HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA, SHRI JUSTICE BHUSHAN R. GAVAI
It was a privilege to attend the felicitation of Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India, Shri Justice Bhushan R. Gavai, during the State Lawyers’ Conference organised by the Bar Council Maharashtra and Goa in Mumbai, with my family and friends, Adv. (Dr.) Ashok Yende, Dr. Jaishree Yende, and Adv. Abhishek Yende. The ceremony was truly inspiring and a wonderful experience. Speaking at a felicitation ceremony, CJI Bhushan Gavai said, “Neither the judiciary nor the executive and the Parliament is supreme, but it is the Constitution of India which is which is supreme, and all the three wings have to work as per the Constitution.” The gathering comprising distinguished judges, senior advocates, academics, and students responded with a standing ovation.
